RESONANCE SERIES Selected Works Bleach and Dye on Linen 2020-2021
The Resonance Series was my first body of work after university, and where I began developing the visual language that continues to define my practice. Each piece is made by dyeing and discharging colour from loose linen using hand-made stamps and tools. I worked the linen like a textile, submerging it in buckets of dye and bleach, then stamping patterns line by line. I was drawn to the soft edges where dye bleeds into the fabric, and the process is meditative and repetitive. Complete series available on request.
